This marks our third time being welcomed back to this stunning private mountain course in Colorado—thanks to local legend and member, Brandon Debenham. Known for its challenging greens, incredible scenery, and the occasional elk herd crossing your fairway, it’s the perfect setting for an unforgettable end-of-summer weekend with friends.

SCRAMBLE

A scramble is a fun, team-focused format designed for all skill levels, emphasizing strategy and collaboration. Each player tees off, and the team selects the best shot. The remaining three players then place their balls at that spot and all play from there. This process continues until the ball is holed. One combined team score is recorded per hole.

BASIC RULES
Each player must contribute a minimum of: 2 drives, 2 approach shots, 2 putts per day. A one-stroke penalty will be added for any unmet requirement at the end of the round. Balls must be placed within one club length of the selected shot that is no closer to the hole and within the same type of lie (e.g., fairway, rough, sand). A maximum score per hole (double par) will be enforced to maintain pace of play.

WINNERS
Captains are responsible for maintaining their team’s scorecard and submitting it to the clubhouse at the end of each round. The team with the lowest combined total score across rounds will be crowned the winner.

See Rule Book below for more details.

Structure

TEAM DRAFT

This tournament features a unique format where teams are selected the week of the event. Captains—our players with the lowest recorded GHIN handicaps—will participate in a fantasy style draft to select one player from each designated tier. Each team will ultimately consist of one player from every tier group, creating balanced and competitive teams.

This is where handicaps are super important! The more accurate your handicap the better odds of your teams success. Don't know it? Use this link to help determine yours. Course Handicap™ Calculator. Don't worry, every tier matters and tier level doesn't determine how much we like you. This event supports all skill levels.

See Rule Book below for more detail.

We look forward to hosting another great weekend and ask for your help by adhereing to the rules below.

This is a private club, and we are invited guests. Please help ensure we remain welcome by respecting the course, facilities, staff, and members at all times.
Team outfits are encouraged, but must adhere to proper golf etiquette: collared shirts, golf shoes, and golf pants.
Be mindful — we are not the only ones on the course. Please drive responsibly and keep noise levels appropriate.
Most importantly, maintain pace of play. Your group should always keep the group ahead in view.

Handicap Submission: All players must provide an official handicap or an honest estimate of their typical score range
Tee Times:
To keep pace of play, it is important we tee off on time. Tee times will be determined by Hiwan closer to the start day. Plan on a 9am start for now.
